Visiting Karela United recorded victory over Aduana Stars in matchday 28 of the Ghana Premier League played at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park on Saturday afternoon.

Ironically it was the fire boys who took the lead after just two minutes into the much anticipated encounter through hardworking Richard Mahama.

The home team went to the halftime break with the advantage as the visitors failed to pull parity in the highly competitive clash.

In spirited performance, the visitors proved their worth to snatch maximum points in the much anticipated clash in Dormaa.

In the game, former Bofoakwa Tano attacker, Welbeck Takyi found the back of the net to r4store parity for the visitors in the 65th minute mark.

In the 73rd minute mark, the former Anyinase-based club scored to secure victory to merit the three maximum points in the highly competitive clash through Giyasu Ibrahim.

And with no additional goal, the game ended 2-1 in favour of Karela United at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park on Saturday.

Despite defeat, Aduana Stars remains third on the Ghana Premier League table with 42 points after 28 matches into the campaign.

Meanwhile, Karela United have moved out of the relegation drop after triumphing over Aduana Stars this weekend.

Karela United are now 13th on the Ghana Premier League table with 34 points after 28 matches so far this season.
