Aduana FC played out a pulsating 2-2 draw with Young Apostles on Wednesday afternoon at the Nana Agyemang Badu Stadium in Dormaa.
The match was an evenly contested affair, with both teams sharing possession (51% to 49%) and creating five shots each. The first half ended without a goal, but the action heated up after the break.
Emmanuel Peprah opened the scoring for Aduana in the 60th minute, putting them ahead. However, Young Apostles responded quickly, with Mathias Amegbe netting the equalizer in the 65th minute. The visitors then took the lead in the 78th minute through Razak Saprong’s strike.
As the match seemed to be slipping away from Aduana, Peprah struck again in injury time (97th minute), rescuing a point for his side with a dramatic late equaliser.
Both teams had three corner kicks each, with each side failing to make a significant impact in terms of shots on target (two each). The result leaves Aduana FC 12th and Young Apostles 11th in the league standings, as both teams continue to battle for a mid-table finish.
