2024/25 Ghana Premier League: Week 29 Match Report – Karela United 1-2 Dreams FC

Published on: 27 April 2025

Karela United’s chances of top flight survival dwindled after losing to visiting Dreams FC at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium on Sunday, April 27, 2025.

The hosts scored after recess to half the deficit but couldn’t avoid their fourth defeat in five matches.

Dreams FC struck twice in the first half through Abdul Razak Salifu who broke the deadlock on 13 minutes and Joseph Esso netted their second in the 27th minute.

The Pride and Passion fought back after the break and were rewarded with a goal as they the visitors hanged to return to winning ways.

Nurudeen Amadu’s side remain in the relegation zone after the defeat and face a tricky trip to league-leading Bibiani Gold Stars for their next match.

The win, which is their first in four league matches leaves the Still Believe in 10th position in the standings with 40 points.

They will not be in action next weekend and will have ample time to prepare for their trip to face Asante Kotoko and former head coach Karim Zito.
