Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has noted that his side is preparing for a tough encounter against Chad on Friday when Ghana hosts the side in the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
This is regardless of the admission that the Group I opponent in the World Cup qualifiers is not a top team.
Speaking at his pre-match press conference on Thursday, Coach Otto Addo stressed the importance of staying on guard on the matchday and appealed to Ghanaians for support to secure victory at the end of the contest.
“I know Chad is not a top team but believe me it’s not going to be easy. We need all the support we can get,” coach Otto Addo said.
Ghana will host Madagascar on Friday, March 21, in Round 5 of the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Coach Otto Addo and his side will need to pick a win in hopes of moving from third to first in the Group I standings at the end of the matchday.
