Ghana assistant coach Desmond Ofei believes his outfit has got a lot quality to compete Chad and Madagascar in the upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
The Black Stars will host Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, March 21, before traveling to Morocco to face Madagascar at the Grand Stade d'Al Hoceima on Monday, March 24, 2025.
The West African powerhouse are currently joint top of Group I alongside Comoros with nine points, having secured back-to-back wins against Mali and the Central African Republic (CAR) in their previous World Cup qualifying matches.
“We have enough quality to compete against Chad and Madagascar. We want to make Ghanaian fans very proud of us. It very important that we give a really good performance against Chad at home. We are going to fight and it’s going to be a final. It important to make sure that this window is wrapped up positively” he said.
Ghana is seeking to bounce back from their disappointing performances and results, including recent 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualification failure.
Meanwhile, Ghana coach Otto Addo is yet to announce his squad for the two crucial games next week.
