23 y/o Madrid loanee Mayoral faces uncertain future

Borja Mayoral turns 23 years of age this April 5 and he faces an uncertain future.

The striker is currently on loan at Levante for the second year in a row, but will only be with the Valencian club until the summer.

Then, he'll have one year remaining on his Real Madrid contract.

Yet Mayoral wants to play regularly and may not be able to do so at the club whose academy he came through.

He has stated that if he doesn't enter into Real Madrid's first-team plans, then he'd like to depart on a permanent transfer next time and not on another loan, after having already joined Wolfsburg and Levante on a temporary basis.

So far he has scored 11 goals in 58 matches for Levante and another seven goals in 31 appearances for Real Madrid, but it's not clear where he'll be trying to add to his goalscoring numbers in 2020/21.
