Ghanaian winger Aaron Opoku could secure promotion with VfL Osnabrück to the second German second-tier following breathtaking performances for the side.

The 23-year-old, who is on loan from Hamburger SV, has scored three goals and provided several assists in 30 matches for the Liga 3 side.

The native of Hamburg is one of the reasons VfL Osnabrück can still hope for promotion with six matches to end the season.

VfL Osnabrück are fourth on the table, just six behind Eintracht Frankfurt and still in with a chance to qualify to the next edition.

Opoku was farmed out on another loan expedition after stints at Rostock and Regensburg.

The contract of the German-born Ghanaian wideman at Hamburg runs out in 2024.

He could return to his parent club after the expiration of his current loan spell.
