Abedi Pele rallies support for sons

Abedi Pele has called for total support for his three sons and others like them so as to secure Ghana’s future in world of football.

The ex Ghana captain has had all his sons; Rahim, Andre and Jordan feature for the Black Stars aside plying their trade with top European clubs.

The last of his sons, Jordan, is in line to make his maiden appearance for the national team at the African Cup following the footsteps of Rahim and Andre and Pele says all of them including others who have the same appetite for the game should be given absolute support.

“They are young and a lot of passion for the game and it shows whenever they play both for club and country,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“Therefore they and other players like them need a lot of support to ensure that Ghana benefits off their good work and dedication.

“Football has changed a lot since my time and people like Andre who has just won the BBC African Player of the Year award needs your support to ensure success for Ghana”.
