Abedi Pele's camp deny interest in Ghana FA presidency

Ghana legend Abedi Pele has no interest in contesting in the Ghana Football Association presidential race next year, this according to his publicist.

The ex-Ghana captain was mentioned as one of the three men likely to stand against incumbent Kwesi Nyantakyi.

But the camp of the triple African Footballer of the Year has quelled those rumours

"Abedi Pele has no need to contest for the presidency of the Ghana Football Association at this moment. The media reports about him contesting are unfounded because no body has spoken to him," his publicist Fiifi Tackie told Allsports.com.gh.

"He is currently concentrating on Nania FC and other ventures that he is involved with."
