Stromgodset midfielder Mohammed Abu and his team-mate Adam Kwarasey are confirmed invitee for Ghana’s friendly games against opponent not yet known, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

The 19-year-old on-loan Man City player impressed Coach Goran Stevanovic on his Black Stars debut in the 0-0 draw with Nigeria last month, thus earning a recall.

Goalkeeper Kwarasey who is also the firast choice for the Black Stars have also received his invitation.

The Ukraine-based duo of Derek Boateng and Samuel Inkoom have also been invited.

The Italy-based duo of Agyemang Badu and Kwadwo Asamoah have also received their letters from the Ghana FA.

Players like Asamoah Gyan captain John Mensah, John Pantsil, Daniel Opare have confirmed receiving their invites.

GHANAsoccernet.com understands that Andre Ayew has also received his invite but the Marseille player is yet to confirm receiving his invitation.

It is likely many players have already been called.

The Black Stars are arranging friendlies in a fortnight in France as part of preparations towards next year’s Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.

Ghana drawn in Group D alongside Botswana, Mali and Guinea has been tipped as overwhelming favourites to end their 30-year drought of an African title.
