Premier League side Berekum Arsenals have accused coach Yusif Abubakar for dragging his feet on completing a move to the club.

The ex-Berekum Chelsea assistant coach is on the verge of joining Asante Kotoko with personal details yet to be sorted out.

Arsenals claim Abubakar had agreed to cross-carpet to the club and surprised at his decision to pull out of the deal in the final phase

The club's owner Yakubu Moro said: "We had reached an agreement with him but now he doesn’t pick my calls again and that’s very surprising.

"We wanted him as our head coach for the upcoming Glo Premier League but now it seems it won’t work because he has not responded to us again.

"It's a bit surprising but I guess he also has his reasons, just that I thought he could have been more straightforward with us."
