Aduana Stars coach Abubakar Yusif and Ashantigold ace Hans Kwofie have been named as NASCO player and coach of the month for October, the final month of the 2016/2017 Premier League season.
Matches played in September before the league went on break for the WAFU tournament, as well as the final games in September were used in determining the winners by the PLB.
Hans Kwofie's remarkable form in the final games of the season ensured that he edged out Berekum Chelsea's Zacharia Fuseini and Bernard Arthur of Liberty Professionals.
Kwoffie scored six goals in four matches and also picked up three man of the match awards.
Coach Abubakar won three out of four matches to seal a second premier league title for Aduana Stars, and his impressive run got him the accolade.
Other contenders were Michael Osei of Liberty Professionals and Recardo Cordeiro Da Rocha of Ebusua Dwarfs.
