Ghana and AC Milan midfielder Michael Essien has congratulated English Premier League Champions Manchester City.
The 31-year-old ex-Chelsea star took to his official facebook page to convey his message to the Eastlanders.
" Congratulations to Manchester City for winning the Premier League", he wrote.
Manchester City, on Sunday, won their second Premier League title in three seasons after beating Westham United by 2-0 at the Etihad Stadium.
Manuel Pellegrini's side also won the League Cup, the club's second during the just ended campaign, a month ago after beating a resilient Wigan side at the Wembley.
