AC Milan appoint new sporting director

After their sale to a Chinese consortium, Serie A giants AC Milan have appointed Massimiliano Mirabelli as their new sporting director.

Formerly a scouting head at rivals Inter, Mirabelli is one of the new faces that administrator Marco Fassano is looking to bring to the club with the Italians currently working to bring in a whole new setup to the club.

“Sino-Europe Sports is pleased to inform that, as of the closing date, Massimiliano Mirabelli will become part of the AC Milan team management, working directly with the Chief Executive Officer and General Manager Marco Fassone in the area of sports management,” a statement from Sino-Europe Sports said.

“Sino-Europe Sports gives its warmest welcome to Massimiliano and expresses its best wishes for a good job.”
