Commenting upon AC Milan 1-0 victory over Torino, on the account of Ante Rebic's goal, Rossoneri boss Stefano Pioli stated: “Plenty of good things to take from this game. We put in a great performance in the first half, while we should have killed off the game in the second. But all in all, I’m happy”.

Serie A debutant Matteo Gabbia, who replaced Simon Kjaer just before the first half was over, added: “It’s a unique feeling, it’s wonderful. It’s been a dream for me since I was six years old, when I first came to the stadium with my grandparents. I’d like to dedicate this to them. Thank you to everyone”.
