AC Milan interested in Torino captain

Serie A side AC Milan are preparing a bid for Torino defender Kamil Glik if they don’t manage to purchase Emanuel Mammana from River Plate.

The Rossoneri are looking forward to strengthening their defensive line with at least two signings during the summer transfer window and the first one has already been reported to be full-back Leonel Vangioni, also from River Plate.

According to TuttoSport, Milan are considering Glik as the main alternative to Mammana in the summer.

The reason of the alleged preference for the Argentinian is his age, since the River central defender is a 20-year-old, whereas the seasoned Torino captain is now 28.

Sinisa Mihajlovic, in fact, is reported to be looking for another young defender to flank star summer signing Alessio Romagnoli for many years to come.

Mammana has made 22 appearances for River Plate, receiving as few as two yellow cards so far in his career.
