AC Milan reject Leicester City approach for striker

AC Milan have reportedly turned down an offer in the region of €16 million from Leicester City for striker M’Baye Niang.

After losing out to Inter in the race to sign Sampdoria striker Eder, the Foxes had targeted the 21-year-old Frenchman as the ideal addition to place alongside top goalscorer, Jamie Vardy.

As reported by Sky Sport Italia, the Rossoneri, after weighing the proposal, eventually decided to reject the approach.

Since his return from injury, Niang has started nine out of 11 Serie A games Milan have played, scoring two goals and assisting three.

The former France Under-21 international is likely to pair with Carlos Bacca on Sunday as the Diavolo face a crucial game against Inter in the season’s second Derby della Madonnina.
