AC Milan star Sulley Muntari fires Barcelona warning ahead of Champions League clash

Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari believes AC Milan will give Barcelona ‘hell’ when the two European giants square up in a UEFA Champions League 2nd leg clash at the Camp Nou on Tuesday.

The Italian side have a 2-0 fist leg advantage courtesy of some stunning goals from the Ghanaian duo Kevin-Prince Boateng and Muntari a couple of weeks ago at San Siro.

Even though many soccer pundits are waiting with bated breath what response Lionel Messi and co will come up with tomorrow night in what has been one of the most anticipated matches between the two clubs in recent history, Muntari believes Milan will invade Spain to repeat the dose.

Muntari said: “We beat them to their game in Italy and we will repeat our performance there (Spain).

"We will make things difficult for them and prevent them from playing their fluid passing game. We know what Messi and Iniesta for instance can do but we will make things difficult for them.

Sulley maintains that Friday’s 2-0 victory over Genoa will no doubt provide a timely boost for the second leg against Barca, with his men needing to protect their 2-0 lead against their La Liga opponents in order to progress.

“We will take inspiration from that and go there with confidence,” Muntari said in post match interview.

Meanwhile, Giampaolo Pazzini is out of the game for Milan, but Phillippe Mexes and Kevin-Prince Boateng can travel to Barcelona with Milan.

There were also fears over the fitness levels of Boateng and Mexes, but they are both included in the squad travelling to Spain.
