AC Milan striker could be set to make shock China switch

AC Milan forward Luiz Adriano could be reportedly set to make a lucrative January move to the Chinese Super League.

Despite only joining the Rossoneri from Shakhtar Donetsk last summer, Adriano has since failed to impress coach Sinisa Mihajlovic, and a departure from the Stadio San Siro is now looking increasingly likely.

Sky Sport Italia have reported that the player could leave Milan for a transfer fee of around €14 million, with Adriano himself receiving a contract that could potentially earn him up to €8 million per season.

They have stated that negotiations have already begun between the two parties, also revealing that the transfer could be finalised in the next few days.

Furthermore, speculation has increased following the news that Adriano has been left out of Milan’s squad for their quarter-final clash against Carpi on Wednesday.

Since arriving in Serie A for €8 million in July, Adriano has made 17 domestic appearances for the Diavolo, scoring a meagre three goals.
