Accra Lions have completed the signing of Malian forward Youssouf Simpara ahead of the new season.
The lanky forward joins the Ghana Premier League side from Malian club Association Sportive de Korofina.
The 21-year-old is expected to add quality to the attack of Accra Lions with the new season set to start on Friday, September 9, 2022.
"Accra Lions Football Club can confirm the signing of Malian striker Youssouf Simpara. The Lions have moved to bolster their striking options with the transfer of the lanky former Under-20 international," wrote Accra Lions as they announced the arrival of the forward.
Coach James Francis is delighted with the latest addition to the squad.
“We are delighted to add such a smart striker to our squad. He will surely increase the quality in the team," said James Francis.
Accra Lions begin the season with a trip to Akyim to play newcomers Kotoku Royals.
