Accra United Sporting Club Chief Executive Stephanie Sedinam Quarshie is confident that her team has the potential to qualify for the middle league promotional playoff in the upcoming season.

Despite a strong start in the 2023/24 campaign, the Accra West district based side narrowly missed out on securing a spot in the middle league.

The team has since transferred several key players to premier league clubs.

However, Quarshie remains optimistic about their prospects.

''We are looking forward to the upcoming season. We still have a lot of quality in the squad, despite the departure of some of our key players,'' she stated.

''Our goal is to achieve middle league qualification this time, and we are committed to doing everything possible to reach that target.''

The team has seen a few notable transfers, including Rasco London, Inusah Abubakar, and Adu Kwabena Meider to Legon Cities, Roland Darks to Bechem, and Abubakar Lartey and Yaw Amoah to Inter Allies, a first-division team, with Yaw Amoah also moving to Heart of Lions.
