Spanish clubs AD Alcoron, Extramadura and UD Melila have sent words of sympathy to Ghanaian midfielder Richard Boateng, after losing his father on Tuesday.
Richard, who is younger brother of Derek Boateng announced the passing of their father on Tuesday after suffering from illness.
The 27-year old plays for AD Alcoron in the Spanish Segunda Division and has been in quarantine for the past two weeks following the outbreak of the deadly coronavirus.
The news of his father's death came at a bad time for him especially with the world at a standstill due to coronavirus.
Football in Spain has been halted, however, former clubs and his present club took time to console with the playmaker.
Richard Boateng has been having a good season after netting five goals in 27 appearances for the Potters.
