Ghana winger Albert Adomah scored late to claim a priceless 3-2 away victory for struggling Bristol City over Sheffield Wednesday in the English Npower Championship on Saturday.

The Robins fought twice from behind to peck the scoring 2-2 before Adomah claimed for City their only fifth win of the season at the Hillsborough Stadium.

Adomah fed a through ball into the feet of Baldock who was clipped by Miguel Llera inside the box.

After Baldock converted from the spot to settle the scoring in the 17th minute, City built their foundations throughout the contest, and more good work from Adomah threatened to provide a crucial second goal in their favour.

Baldock scored from another penalty to restore parity for City in the 85th minute.

Danns was tripped four minutes from time and Adomah struck the killer blow with a delightful 25-yard free kick to spark jubilant scenes as the winger led his team-mates to embrace McInnes and the coaching staff in the technical area.

Adomah has bagged in five goals this season.
