Aduana delay decision on next coach

Ghana Premier League side Aduana Stars have insisted they are not in rush to name a new coach after the departure of Cioaba Aristica.

The Romanian took charge of the Dormaa-based side last season but decided not to renew his contract after placing sixth in the just ended campaign.

"The management of the club are not in any rush to appoint a new coach," General Secretary Frank Kumi told Sunyani-based Storm FM.

"We have had several meetings and would be presenting our report to the (Dormaahene) owner of the club and then we take on from there.

"We have an acting coach who was assistant to Aristica and he has also prepared a technical report on recruitment and other issues."

He added that: "As to we hiring a local coach or going foreign again cannot be a matter for public discussion because we haven't decided on anything yet."

Aduana won the 2009/2010 Ghana Premier League under experienced local coach Herbert Addo.
