Two times Ghana Premier League champions Aduana Stars have handed goalkeeper Joseph Addo a new contract.

The Dormaa based club have extended the shot stopper's deal for another two years, which will see him stay at the club until 2022.

"We are pleased to announce that Joseph Addo has pen down two years contract extension for the club," Aduana wrote on Twitter.

Addo was initially rumoured to be on the list of neveau rich club Legon Cities but the former Ghana U-20 goalie opted to stay with the Ghanaian giants.

Addo joined Aduana Stars in 2015 and has since been their most reliable goalkeeper.

His contract extension is major boost for the yet to be dethroned champions.

Aduana Stars begin the campaign with a home game against Hearts of Oak at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa.
