Aduana Stars CEO Albert Commey rubbishes reports they sold '6-0 defeat' to Raja Casablanca
Raja Club Athletic player celebrates after scoring a goal during the African Confederation Cup soccer match between Raja Club Athletic of Morocco and Aduana Stars F.C of Guinea at Stadium in Casablanca , Morocco, 29 August 2018.

Aduana Stars Chief Executive Albert Commey has described as 'preposterous' reports that they sold their final 2018 CAF Confederation Cup to Raja Casablanca on Wednesday night.

The Ghanaian champions were hammered 6-0 by the Moroccan side to win Group A.

Fans have questioned the magnitude of the defeat and suspect Aduana were paid to lose heavily.

But this has been dispelled by Commey who was with the team in Casablanca.

''Those who are rumouring that we sold the match doesn't know what they are saying. I don't know what they will get out of it.  It is never true. I feel hurt when I hear these things so I beg them, sometimes it happens,'' Commey told Sika FM.

''I have read a lot of these things on social media and some of them are laughable.

''We should rather look at the way when we go to Africa, we will unite than making sure we eliminated and come out with certain statements which are not acceptable.''
