Aduana Stars operations manager George Gyawu admits the club need a new direction after their embarrassing exit from the CAF Confederation Cup.

The Ghanaian side exited the competition after being clobbered 6-0 at Moroccan side Raja Casablanca on Wednesday.

The campaign of the Ghanaian champions was punctuated with inconsistently and lack of proper planning amid managerial crisis which hit the team.

Managerial incompetence, player indiscipline and lack of technical direction are the chief reasons for their humiliating performances in Africa's inter club competition.

Japanese coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi is expected to leave his role with the position of Chief Executive Albert Commey unclear.

And the club's long-standing operations chief George Gyawu admits a new direction is required to turn things around.

"Our performance yesterday was very bad,, I believe it’s about time for the team to get new direction. Aduana Ogya." he wrote on his facebook page.

The Fire Club are expected to pick the pieces following their pathetic capitulation in the competition.
