Aduana Stars coach Abdulrahman Ameyaw says the weekend’s draw with Great Olympics was not a ‘true reflection of the game’.

The Fire club were held to a 1-1 draw at Dormaa to miss an opportunity to keep heaping the pressure on leaders AshantiGold.

Aduana had to fight from a goal down to secure the draw against the relegation-threatened Olympics.

They had a goal disallowed earlier on in the game before eventually getting the equalizer through a spot kick.

But coach Abdulrahman Ameyaw believes his side did more than enough to get the win.

“The result is not a true reflection of the game,” he said.

“We should have won the match but we had a goal disallowed and thankfully we had a penalty to equalize.”

Aduana Stars remain second in the First Capital Plus League but now three points adrift leaders AshantiGold with three games left.
