Aduana Stars coach Yusif Abubakar tasks players to fight for GPL title

Head coach of Aduana Stars Yusif Abubakar has challenged his players to fight for the Ghana Premier League title.

The Ogya Boys played out a 0-0 stalemate at the Tarkwa T&A Park against Medeama SC thanks to the exploits of goalkeeper Joseph Addo.

The result left Aduana rue the chance to overhaul WAFA, who have two outstanding games at hand at the summit of the standings.

And coach Abubakar has challenged his players to remain focused as the league reaches its climax to ensure that they emerge champions.

"At this stage it all goes down to the mental toughness of the boys. I have warned them that when it gets to this level so many things have to be done by the players," he said.

"As coaches we have very little to do because we have done it up to this level. So for the remaining matches the players must look at their position and decide how they want to finish the the season."

Aduana currently lead the pack with 44 points, one above closest rivals WAFA who have a game in hand.
