Aduana Stars defender Caleb Amankwah is eyeing senior national, Black Stars call-up under coach Charles Akonnor.
The 22-year-old is one of the highly-rated defenders in the Ghana Premier League and according to him, it will be a core true if he is invited into the team.
“I will command the defence of the Black Stars by two years’ time and it’s possible for me to do so”
“I am a very disciplined player so if I get the needed call up and the right manager, I will be able to mastermind the defence for years to come,” he said as reported by footballghana.com
He has impressed greatly for the former league champions since joining them in 2018 from WAFA.
Amankwah established himself as one of the best defenders in the local league at WAFA as he contributed immensely to their title challenge in 2016.
Before the 2019/20 season was truncated, Amankwah had played a key role in Aduana Stars occupying the first position.
