Asante Kotoko could lose their long term target Godfred Saka following a report that the defender could be set to join an unnamed Turkish club.

Saka, considered as one of the best defenders in the local scene has been a target for both Kotoko and Hearts of Oak in recent times.

He was close to joining the Porcupine warriors last year but a transfer fee could not be agreed on between Kotoko and Aduana.

The right back who is a member of the local Black Stars team is reported to have been approached by an unnamed Turkish club during Ghana’s disastrous COSAFA cup competition in South Africa.

It remains to be seen if the club will follow up on arguably the most wanted defender in the First Capital plus premier league.
