Aduana Stars head coach Herbert Addo is reported to have deserted the club after months a frosty relationship between him and management.

The man who masterminded the club's historic league title 2010 has refused to enter negotiations over a new deal.

Reports suggest the former local Black Stars coach is fed-up with constant interference in his job and would officially quit soon.

GHANAsoccernet.com understands calls to get Addo and his assistant Ben Zola on the bench for Sunday's coronation match against champions Berekum Chelsea proved futile.

A board member who spoke to GHANAsoccernet.com on anonymity confirmed that: "We tried calling him a couple of days before the game but couldn't reach him and actually we don't know his whereabouts as we speak."

Last season, the soft spoken coach was physically attacked by a fan after a goalless draw game with Liberty Professionals.

He was also prevented from effecting a substitution by the Chief Executive Kofi Manu during another league match.
