Advantage for Ghana as CAF rules out spectators for Zimbabwe clash in Harare

Zimbabwe cannot have fans in the stadium when they host Ghana in next Tuesday's FIFA World Cup qualifier.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) tuned down the country's request to allow fans into the stadium in Harare.

It is good news for Ghana and also an advantage because they wouldn't have to deal with intimidating fans at the Zimbabwe National Sports Stadium.

While Zimbabwe will have no fans, Ghana will have fans when they host the Warriors on Saturday at the Cape Coast Stadium.

The two teams are meeting twice in the space of four days, with both teams in desperate need of the six points at stake.

Ghana need six points which could see them go top of Group G while Zimbabwe must win both games to avoid being eliminated.

South Africa top the group with four points, followed by Ghana and Ethiopia, both three points, and Zimbabwe are bottom with only one point after two games.
