PROFILE
Veteran Montenegro striker Dejan Damjanovic is back in the AFC Champions League aiming to return FC Seoul to the top of the continental game after spending several seasons in the Chinese Super League.

In a five-year spell with the club from the Korea Republic capital, Damjanovic established himself as one of the most prolific forwards in Asian football, with his goals helping the club to two Korean titles as well as to the final of the AFC Champions League in 2013.

After two seasons spent in China – with Jiangsu Sainty and Beijing Guoan – Damjanovic has headed back to FC Seoul and he will be hoping to show the form that saw him finish as the K-League’s top scorer for three seasons in a row.

IMPORTANCE TO TEAM
While Damjanovic is a prolific goal scorer, it is his all-round game that has made him a highly sought after forward capable of leading the line while also bringing the best out of those around him.

It was this that saw him crowned the K-League’s Most Valuable Player as FC Seoul won the domestic title in 2012.

ONES TO WATCH
Former Monaco and Arsenal forward Park Chu-young  has enjoyed an upturn in form at FC Seoul and along with Damjanovic, Brazilian forward Adriano, and their ever-present Spanish centre-back Osmar Barba is among the first names on the starting list for the club.
