PROFILE
Since signing for Al Nassr in 2009, striker Mohammad Al Sahlawi has netted an incredible 109 times in just 136 games.

The prolific Saudi Arabia striker was last year’s top scorer in international football – three ahead of Poland’s Robert Lewandowski - after notching 18 goals, including in two games against Timor Leste, to keep the Green Falcons three points ahead of the United Arab Emirates at the summit of Group A.

On the domestic scene Al Sahlawi helped his club side claim back-to-back Saudi Premier League titles for the first time since 1995 as they returned to the AFC Champions League group stage.

Now entering his eighth year with the Saudi giants, the 29-year-old is in the prime of his career and ready to shoot Al Nassr into the Round of 16 for the first time since 2011.

IMPORTANCE TO TEAM
Goals win games and boasting a senior strike record of just under three goals every four matches shows penalty box predator Al Sahlawi is key to his side’s success.

Although largely dependent on his right foot - and it is quite the weapon - Al Sahlawi is also adept in the air and was amongst the top scorers for headed goals in the Saudi Pro League last season.

ONES TO WATCH
Up front alongside Al Sahlawi is Saudi Arabia striker Naif Hazazi while behind the pair is Poland schemer Adrian Mierzejewski, who netted twice in his AFC Champions League debut last year. Talented winger Yahia Al Shehri was among the biggest transfers in Saudi club history when he moved from Ettifaq to Al Nassr in 2013 and he remains a potent weapon out wide.
