AFCON 2015: Cash boost for Guinea to beat Ghana as each player is promised US$ 50,000

Guinea players have been promised a US$ 50,000 winning bonus each if they beat Ghana to reach the semi-final of the Africa Cup of Nations.

The Syli National were paid US$ 30,000 a-player for reaching the quarter-final despite being lucky with the drawing of lots which saw them advance ahead of Mali.

There added incentive package for the Guineans with each member of the playing body promised US$ 70,000 if they reach the final.

This means each Guinea player will pocket a total of US$ 150,000 if they progress to the final stage of the tournament.

The winner of the Ghana-Guinea quarter-final clash will face Equatorial Guinea in the semi-final.
