Ghana winger Solomon Asante has recovered fully from injury as he returned to training with TP Mazembe on Monday.

The 24-year-old was cleared by doctors of the DR Congo giants having returned from international duty with the Black Stars with a knock.

Asante hobbled from the Ghana camp after helping the side seal qualification to the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations with a win over Togo in midweek.

The former Berekum Chelsea man was feared to have picked up a knee injury which could have ruled him out of the 2015 AFCON to be staged in Equatorial Guinea in January.

But the skillful winger trained with his club teammates on Monday to allay any injury fears.

Asante has made a strong impact with the Black Stars with excellent displays in recent games.

He will be considered a vital figure in the team that will attempt to win its first Nations Cup since 1982 in Equatorial Guinea.
