AS Roma manager, Jose Mourinho has revealed that Ghanaian teen, Felix Afena-Gyan is not returning to the youth side.

The 18-year-old has been in and out of the first team, but after his heroic display against Genoa last Sunday, Mourinho has finally made a decision on the youngster.

The Portuguese gaffer wants to keep the teen sensation with the first team.

“I am sorry for Mister De Rossi and the Primavera squad, but Felix will stay with us. The Primavera work close to us, so Felix and another four or five players have come across to the senior squad,” said Mourinho.

“You get these kids now who think they know everything, but he is humble and you can sense he just absorbs all this information from everyone around him. That’s fantastic.

“What impressed me the most was his cool head in front of goal. If he is not in terms of technique fantastic, he does have a strong mentality.”

Felix Afena-Gyan netted a brace a against Genoa, his first two goals for the senior team.
