Harrison Afful aims to win his first Caf Champions League title against Wydad Cassablanca at the second time of asking.

The Red and Gold will be hoping to be the team with all the smiles this year after last season's heartache against TP Mazembe where the lost a to staggering 6-1 aggregate scoreline in the final.

However the Ghana international in hailing one of the greatest moments of his football career epitomizes the team's determination to put last season's disappointment firmly behind them by winning the trophy and the $1.5m prize money that comes with it.

"We want to create a record and history for Esperance. Every player wants to win trophies, and that’s just what we want to do.

"We'll do our maximum effort to win the trophy. We didn't do well in the final last season, but I'm confident that we will do our best to bring the trophy home."
