Ghana midfielder Afriyie Acquah is delighted with his breakthrough season for both club and country.
The 20-year-old emerged one of the regular features in the Serie-A with Palermo while also making his senior à national team debut with the Black Stars in Februaryââ¬â¢s international friendly with Chile.
Acquah who is thoroughly delighted with his run of games in the just ended campaign hopes his hardwork gets him more games under his belt.
ââ¬ÅThis season I think I played good football and I played a lot of matches,â⬠he told GHANAsoccernet.com.
ââ¬ÅIt was tough breaking through as a young player but thankfully I got the chance to play with the big players in the Serie-A.
ââ¬ÅI played maybe 25 matches and I believe my hardowork got me this many games and I am looking forward to playing all the game next season.ââ¬
Acquah has played for Mine Stars, Behcem United and DC United before joining the youth side of Palermo in 2010.
