Dutch born Ghanaian forward Myron Boadu has admitted missing the game after the Eredivisie was suspended due to the rapid spreading coronavirus.

The AZ Alkmaar striker says it has become boring after two weeks without football despite enjoying the company of family home.

"After two weeks at home it is a bit boring now, but I am doing well. It is nice that I can be with my family a lot. I lie when I say that I do not miss the boys and the matches. I want I love to play, but football is not the most important thing at the moment," he told AZ Alkmaar's official website.

Boadu has been in scintillating form for AZ this season, with his 14 league goals helping Alkmaar to join top of the table with Ajax.

The red hot attacker has been linked with several clubs including Italian giants Juventus ahead of the summer transfer window.

The return of the Dutch top flight league remains uncertain as the world tackle the novel coronavirus pandemic.
