Afum scores a double in pre-season friendly

Ghana striker Samuel Afum increased his pre-season goal tally to seven after bagging a brace in FC Smouha's 6-0 drubbing of second-tier Tanta FC on Thursday in Alexandria.

The 22-year-old came off the bench in the 46th minute and made it 3-0 for Shawky Gharib's side six minutes later before adding another on 80 minutes.

Afum started a move from the right wing; combining with Hesham Fathallah who outpaced his marker to play through Afum for him to coolly finish off on the 52nd minute mark.

He then swept a screaming pile-driver ten minutes from time to register the fifth goal for Smouha.

Afum won the goal king award in the Benyas Club Tournament last week in Kuwait.
