Samuel Inkoom’s move to Houston Dynamo could hit a snag following claims by his agent of not being aware of the transfer.

The 25-year-old was surprisingly traded by DC United just within three months of his arrival.

Inkoom was thought to be on his way back to recovering his best form when he decided to move to the MLS after struggles with his last European club Dnipro.

But the former FC Basel man could only manage six appearances in all competitions for DC United – leading to his trade alongside Joe Willis to Houston Dynamo in exchange for Andrew Driver and a fourth-round 2016 MLS Super Draft pick.

But the Ghana international’s agent is contesting the authenticity of the move since he wasn’t made aware trade.

“I don’t know whether a transfer can take place without the involvement of a player’s agent,” Christian Emile said.

“It is something we will have to look at.”

Emile fronted the deal which saw Inkoom move to DC United as a free agent back in September.

It is therefore surprising he was not in the know when his client was traded early this month.

In what form does Inkoom gets invited to the Black Stars camp? At DC United, he wasn't even a starter and was hardly used. And this agent should give us a break. Inkoom's poor form started when he was traded from Basel to the East European club, Dnipro. Where was he? Didn't we all warn him on this site of the dangers of sending Inkoom to Eastern Europe? Didn't he choose to ignore us?Because of poor management, Inkoom who was one of Ghana's shinning stars in the 2010 WC is on record as one of the fastest to deteriorate. He was in his prime for only about 4 years. Give us a break, pal.

My only advice to all ghanaian young players is that gud name is better than richies. They must stick to top europeans countries n their names ll' be known all over the world n money ll' be added to pele, nii ordartey lamptey, prince polley, tony yeboah,n emmanuel osei kuffour they all got money bt they did played for top european club n famours too.
