Ghanaian midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has signed a permanent deal with Hellas Verona from Udinese.

Badu has signed a two-year with Hellas ahead of the 2020/21 season which starts next month.

The 29-year-old spent last season on loan with the Serie A side.

He, however, endured a difficult time as he was sidelined for the most part of the season after he was diagnosed with a pulmonary microembolism. He made just 10 appearances for Hellas Verona.

The move ends his 10 years association with Udinese. He joined the club in 2010 from Ghanaian club, Berekum Arsenal.

Badu made over 170 appearances for Udinese, scoring 10 goals.

Prior to joining Udinese, he played for Asante Kotoko and Recreativo Huelva in Spain.
