Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang hopes to start kicking a ball next week as he steps up his recovery.
The Udinese ace picked up a knee injury at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations and has been working in the gym.
He underwent surgery to correct the problem and was scheduled to stay out for six weeks.
"I have started full running so hoping to start ball work next week. I can't wait to be back man," Agyemang-Badu wrote on his official twitter page.
Last month, the Ghana FA official Felix Ansong paid him a visit to check on his recovery.
