Al Ahly are insisting duo Abu-Treika and Meteb return from the Olympics ahead of CAF Champions League clash against Berekum Chelsea.

The six-time African champions have sent an official letter to the Egyptian Football Association demanding they return their overage players.

A statement said: "The return of midfielder Mohamed Abu-Treika and striker Emad Meteb before the Chelsea match of the CAF Champions League is so vital for the team, as we have already mentioned and previously agreed to."

But winger Ahmed Fathi will continue with the Young Pharaohs because he is serving a one-match suspension after picking up a second yellow-card in the CAF Champions League.

Ahly, leaders in Group B with six points, face second-place Berekum Chelsea on Saturday at home.
