Ahly name strong squad to face Ghana's Chelsea

Al Ahly coach Hossam El-Badry has named a strong 20-man squad for the Champions League Group B clash against Berekum Chelsea on Saturday. 

Mauritanian forward Dominique Da Silva-who was sent off in the preliminary qualifying round-returns to the squad after serving a two-match ban.

Ivorian striker Oussou Konan, who was complaining about pelvic pain last week, has been named in the squad.

Also included in the squad is offensive midfielder Mohamed "Gedo" Nagy and experienced Wael Gomaa and Mohammed Barakat.

Duo Mohamed Abou-Treika and Emad Meteb will miss the game after Ahly agreed to let them remain with Egypt's Olympic team.

El-Badry is likely to hand a starting role to playmaker Abdallah El-Saied in the absence of veteran Abou-Treika.

The match will be played at Cairo's Military Academy Stadium behind closed doors.

Ahly lead Group B with six points after beating TP Mazembe and Zamalek. Chelsea are in second place with four points.
