The 26-year-old ditched the Premier League champions unceremoniously with some few months left to run on his contract to join Egyptian club El Gouna in 2012.

Toure had disciplinary issues with then Kotoko coach Maxwell Kionadu – leading to his informal exit from the club.

But the former Ghana Premier League MVP wants to return to Porcupine Warriors haven failed to hit his strides elsewhere.

He will be holding talks with Kotoko officials who appear willing to take a chance on him especially with the departure of striker Kofi Nti-Boakye.

The player who was a fans favourite will however be required to pass a mandatory club medical if an agreement is reached to seal his return to Kotoko.
