Ajax Amsterdam release Ghanaian youngster Kevin Owusu Asare

Dutch giants Ajax Amsterdam have released Ghanaian youngster Kevin Owusu Asare after failing to impress during his two years stay.

The 23-year-old joined Ajax from RKC Waalwijk in 2018 where he featured for the amateurs in the fourth-tier, failing to progress to the first team.

Owusu has already signed for FC Purmersteljn in the Dutch fifth-tier division and will join his new teammates on 1 July 2020.

Owusu previously featured for Volendam at the U17, U19 and U21 levels where he made an impressive impact attracting interest from the big clubs in the Eredivisie.
 
He was born to Ghanaian parents in the Netherlands and holds both Dutch and Ghanaian passports.
