Dutch-born footballer of Ghanaian descent Brian Brobbey is likely to be on the sidelines for longer periods due to his injury.
The youngster picked up an injury in his debut Champions League game for Ajax against Atlanta.
The 18-year old lasted 45 minutes in the game as Ajax crashed out of the competition following Luis Muriel's 85th-minute strike for the visitors.
However Ajax coach Henrik Ten Hag maybe able to count on Noussair Mazraoui, David Neres and Mohammed Kudus after the winter break as the trio make injury rerun.
Brian Brobbey made his senior debut for Ajax in the Dutch Eredivisie in October, coming on as a second-half substitute against Fortuna Sittard.
